Emporio Armani turns down volume on colors

Soft lines and colours dominated Giorgio Armani's youth line in Milan, at the 2013 spring-summer show.

MILAN, ITALY - Italian fashion brand Emporio Armani stuck to a sober note for its 2013 spring-summer show on Thursday (September 20). Designer Giorgio Armani chose simple, clean lines for his easy-to-wear show created for a young woman who likes to feel comfortable in her own skin.

For the morning, jackets in checkered prints were paired with shorts to show legs, and mushroom brown was the base color. Sleeve-less blouses exposed arms, unless they were covered with structured jackets, adding dynamism to the fluid shapes. Trousers were soft and slim at the ankle, paired with silk blouses in matching neutral colors.
