Just Cavalli splashes collection with marine colours at 2013 spring/summer Milan week

Irridescent chiffon dresses, sequins and sea life prints are the rage for the Cavalli youth line at Milan's spring/summer collection 2013.

MILAN, ITALY (SEPTEMBER 21, 2012) -
Italian designer Roberto Cavalli plunged into the Mediterranean sea for his Just Cavalli youthful collection for next summer on Friday. (September. 21)

Short dresses in sheer chiffon were sculpted with slits and prints to add movement to the marine-inspired creations.

Some models had sequins in a myriad of colour nuances shaped by an ohyhydrogen flame to create a tri-dimensional effect like sea urchins.

The iconic jaguar prints for which the fashion house is known were turned into seashells to evoke the marine life.

Sheer silk blouses with sea horse prints were worn over skinny trousers or loose fluid skirts.
Male models walked the catwalk in Bermuda shorts paired with structured organza jackets.
Others wore smoking jackets over silk pijama trousers in contrasting animal and marine prints.
Accessories included ankle boots with fluo rubber heels for a girl who loves to surprise.
